In our sound baths, multiple vibrational instrument are played in a therapeutic manner in order to relax the body, calm the mind, and ignite inner awareness. Participants are either lying down, floating on mats in water or just sitting in a chair for the experience with their eyes closed.
To get the most out of our sound baths, we suggest people relax in a comfortable position (either lying on the floor, floating on mats in water or just sitting in a chair with eyes closed). Then they simply listen to the sounds and stay present with what is felt during the experience.
“Sound bath” and “sound healing” are often used to describe a similar experience. In general, “sound bath” describes group events where a practitioner plays vibrational instruments for the purpose of relaxation. “Sound healing” is more often used to describe a private session using vibrational instruments played on or around the body.
We use a variety of instruments during each sound session. Our most powerful and healing vibrations come from the gongs and singing bowls. We also use tuning forks, crystal triangles, gongs, shakers, and rain sticks to create a beautiful combination of sounds and tones during each session. These instruments have been used for many years and have been shown to positively impact neural pathways through the sounds and vibrations they produce.
Gong Bath® is a trademarked term owned by Richard Rudis and has been since 2008. In sound therapy, the gong is used to create vibrational waves that help relax the nervous system, release emotional blockages, and restore energetic balance. Its rich, layered sound can quiet the mind, ease tension, and support a meditative or deeply restorative state.
For beginners, a gentle and guided sound bath focused on relaxation and stress relief is ideal. We recommend starting with a 60-minute introductory session. The sounds are soothing, easy to receive, and don’t require any prior experience. Our beginner-friendly sessions typically include a short introduction to what to expect, a time to settle in and get comfortable (seated or lying down), a guided intention or breathing exercise, a calming sound journey using a variety of instruments
You simply relax and allow the sound to wash over you. No effort, no experience needed just an open mind and a willingness to receive.
At Clear Vibrations, all of our sound bath events are played within safe volume levels. We periodically measure our volume to ensure this.
No, we do not burn incense nor use scents during the sound bath. Our sanitizing mat and air spray contain essential oils, so there is a lingering aroma therapy scent.
Not at all. You are welcome to experience the sound bath in whatever position is most comfortable for you. While many people choose to lie on the floor or float (if offered), chairs are always available for seated participation. Your comfort is a priority, and the benefits of sound therapy can be fully received whether you’re lying down, sitting, or even resting in a recliner. Just come as you are.
Group sizes can vary depending on the location and setup, but most of our sessions accommodate 10 to 20 participants to ensure a comfortable and intimate experience. For special events or larger spaces, we may host up to 30 guests.
We aim to create a peaceful environment where everyone has enough space to fully relax. If you prefer a more private setting, we also offer individual and small group sessions by request.
We kindly ask that you sign up in advance to reserve your spot, as space is limited and many of our events sell out. This also helps us prepare the space, equipment, and materials to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.
While walk-ins are welcome if space allows, we cannot guarantee availability at the door. For guaranteed entry, please register ahead through our website or event link.
After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with event details. Please be prepared to show your confirmation email (printed or on your phone) at the door. If the event is in a gated community or private venue, entry instructions — such as gate codes or access details — will be included in your confirmation message.
If you have any trouble accessing the location, feel free to contact us using the information provided in your confirmation.
To make your experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible, we recommend bringing the following:
- Yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to lie on
- Pillow or neck support for added comfort
- Water bottle to stay hydrated
- Eye mask or scarf (optional) to help you relax more deeply
- Comfortable clothing — layers are best in case the room is cool
- Open mind and intention — no experience needed, just come ready to receive
If you’re attending a floating sound bath, we’ll provide floats, but feel free to bring easy-to-remove shoes, a towel, and a change of clothes if needed. You won’t get wet beyond your feet when getting on or off the float.

Yes, sound baths are generally safe and soothing during pregnancy, especially when tailored for comfort. Many expectant mothers find the vibrations calming and grounding. However, every pregnancy is unique, so we recommend:
- Consulting with your healthcare provider before attending
- Letting us know in advance so we can offer additional support (e.g., seating options or softer sound levels near you)
- Bringing extra pillows or props to support your back and hips if lying down
We create a peaceful environment that honors your comfort and safety at every stage of pregnancy.
Yes. For most group sound bath events, we recommend a minimum age of 15, as the sessions require quiet stillness to ensure a peaceful experience for all participants. Younger children may find it difficult to remain still or silent for the full duration.
For specialized events — such as family, youth, or parent-child sound baths — younger participants are welcome with adult supervision.
If you have questions about bringing a younger guest or would like to schedule a private family session, feel free to reach out — we’d love to accommodate you.
To maintain a peaceful and private environment for all participants, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the session unless permission is granted in advance. This helps everyone stay present and relaxed without distractions.
You’re welcome to take photos before or after the event, and we’re happy to help you capture a memory if you’d like.
We understand that delays happen, but to maintain a calm and undisturbed environment, we kindly ask that all guests arrive on time. Once the sound bath begins, entry may be limited or delayed until an appropriate pause, to avoid disrupting the experience for others.
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled and comfortable. If you’re running late, feel free to contact us — we’ll do our best to accommodate you whenever possible.
We understand that plans can change. If you’re unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to a future event, subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a reschedule.
While tickets are non-refundable, we’re happy to work with you to find another session that fits your schedule. No-shows without notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
If you’ve gifted or transferred your ticket to someone else, that’s perfectly fine — we just ask that you let us know in advance by email or text with the new guest’s name. This helps us update the guest list and ensure a smooth check-in process.
If we haven’t been notified, your guest may still be admitted, but confirming ahead of time helps us provide them with any important updates or access instructions.
Absolutely. Your health and the well-being of others are our top priorities. If you or someone in your group has tested positive for COVID or is feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and take care.
You’re welcome to reschedule your session for a future date at no extra charge. Just reach out to us as soon as possible, and we’ll be happy to help you transfer your ticket to another event.

We understand that life happens. To ensure fairness and maintain the quality of our sessions, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. This policy helps us manage our schedule and offer timely sessions to all clients.
